Calgary Beauty Branding: A Visual Identity for Keri Gordon
The Client
Keri Gordon is a hair and makeup artist in Marda Loop, Calgary, known for a soft, feminine touch and an effortlessly confident client experience. I met Keri through a referral at Beautology Studio in Mission. Keri had built a loyal client base through word of mouth and undeniable talent, but felt that her visual identity didn't suit her anymore.
The Approach
She wanted a brand that felt luxurious but approachable; a soft palette that reflected her expertise in hair and makeup, the bright, comfortable feel of her studio, and her personality: subtle, feminine, and effortlessly confident. I built out her full visual identity: logo, colour palette, and visual guide, designed to feel as premium as the experience she gives her clients.
